Kellogg Company’s commitment to acting responsibly and with integrity has earned recognition from two of the world’s leading organisations devoted to measuring companies’ ability to live up to their expressed values. Corporate Responsibility magazine named Kellogg Company one of the 100 Best Corporate Citizens for 2012. The publication bases its list on a number of criteria, including corporate governance, employee relations, environmental impact, financial performance, human rights and philanthropy.

Kellogg has also again been named one of America’s Most Reputable Companies in 2012 in the annual list published by Forbes magazine in co-operation with the Reputation Institute, the global reputation management consulting organisation. Kellogg ranked fourth on the list this year, up from fifth in 2011.

The Reputation Institute develops its annual list by asking thousands of consumers for their perceptions of 150 of the largest companies in the United States. Along with emotional measurements such as trust, admiration and esteem, companies are evaluated on criteria including corporate governance, citizenship, leadership, innovation and products and services.

“We are honored to once again be recognized as one of the world’s most reputable and responsible companies by these trusted organisations,” saus John Bryant, president and chief executive of Kellogg Company. “This is a testament to the character and behavior of our outstanding employees around the world, as well as the deep loyalty and trust that consumers place in our company and our brands.”
