Roberts has taken up the newly created role with an extensive track record in packaging manufacturing and retail innovation, as well as a PhD in polymer engineering.

She has left her role as senior marketing director at Graphic Packaging International, and has previously worked at Sealed Air.

“The packaging industry is exciting yet challenging and through our focus on innovation, we can strengthen Linpac’s market-leading position,” said Roberts. “We will continue to meet customers’ needs for quality, sustainability, innovative presentation and cost-effectiveness, ensuring that Linpac remains competitive and at the forefront of technology development.”

Daniel Dayan, chairman and chief executive at Linpac, said: “The heart of marketing is translating the trends and drivers of our markets into desirable and deliverable concepts.  The core of innovation is turning these concepts into attractive products creating value for customers and consumers.  I am delighted that LINPAC can ramp-up its investment in these crucial and intimately connected areas and that we have been able to attract an individual of Helene’s calibre and experience.”
