Detection kit suppliers Loma Systems and Lock Inspection will debut their new collaboration at June’s Total show.

Specialising in metal detection, checkweighing and x-ray inspection systems for the food and pharmaceutical industries, the firms’ joint stand will display eight working systems, including the launch of Loma’s new X4 x-ray and UK show debut of Lock’s latest PH Pharmaceutical detection system.

“Loma, an innovative leader in the food industry, and Lock, a powerhouse in the pharmaceutical sector, will together embrace the future of inspection through innovation and world-class service to deliver unmatched technology and experiences for food and pharmaceutical manufacturers worldwide,” said Loma’s UK sales manager Tony Bryant.

The X4 X-ray system is designed to match any line speed. It automatically detects contaminants including metals (including metalised packaging), bone, glass, PVC, stone, rubber and flavour/sugar clumps.

Also on stand is Lock’s PH Pharmaceutical system, which can inspect up to 30,000 tablets per minute.
