Loma Systems, a leading manufacturer of high performance metal detectors, checkweighers and x-ray inspection systems for the global food and pharmaceutical industries, has introduced new RUN-WET® specification to its range of IQ4 Metal Detectors, specially designed to offer the ultimate in hygiene and cleaning efficiency for high care environments.

Loma’s latest IQ4 Metal Detector conveyor is now available with a RUN-WET specification that has been developed to offer even higher hygiene and cleaning results. Designed in line with EHEDG hygiene guidelines, the RUN-WET IQ4 Metal Detector’s complete IP69K rating ensures superior protection against high pressure and high temperature wash-down cleaning.

Loma’s new RUN-WET system is ideal for food manufacturing and processing facilities committed to improving food safety and eliminating bacterial contamination. It also provides immediate start functionality following cleaning so there is no drying time.

As well as RUN-WET for more efficient cleaning to further reduce the risk of contamination, the complete IQ4 Metal Detector series is fully adaptable and capable of automatically selecting the correct operating frequency, so changes in product type or packaging do not require costly and inconvenient operator intervention.

Even with differing product conditions, the machine adapts exceptionally well and features an intuitive touchscreen that is straightforward to operate.
